Art, Science and Biodiversity school Workshops between the Comédie de Genève and the Voie Verte
From 30 April to 12 June, the art-werk association is offering school classes a cross-border journey to explore the natural resources that shape our daily lives.
As part of the (re)connecting.earth Biennale (03), the Art, Science and Biodiversity Workshops will offer two 45-minute sessions (1 hour 30 minutes) to school classes from Year 5 upwards. They will take place between the Comédie and the Voie Verte, at the exhibition venue.
The third edition of the Biennale of Urban Art and Nature, (re)connecting.earth, explores natural resources through collaboration between artists and scientists. It brings together 55 works by 17 Swiss and international artists and collectives.
As part of this event, the art-werk association is offering interactive and creative workshops for school groups from 30 April to 12 June, starting at the Comédie de Genève, right next to Eaux-Vives station. Pupils will move between several artworks as far as the edge of the Voie Verte.
Supervised by art-werk facilitators, the children discover artworks in dialogue with scientific contributions and experiment with forms of creative expression themselves. The activities alternate between outdoor and indoor sessions, with covered spaces available if necessary, and allow participants to explore different aspects of natural resources – materials, energy and everyday objects – through playful and sensory approaches.
