From May through mid-June 2026, stretching from the Comédie de Genève to Villa du Parc in Annemasse, the Biennale follows the Green Way and explores the natural resources shaping our territories, infrastructures and imaginaries.
Installations, videos, sculptures, instructional works and performances invite visitors to look differently at what flows through everyday life: sand, soil, water, energy, minerals, vegetation, infrastructures and invisible networks.
Spread across public space, Léman Express train stations, the Comédie de Genève, and the Villa du Parc, the Biennale offered a journey that visitors could explore on foot, by bike, or via public transportation.
This edition was very well received by the public, with many visitors along the entire length of the Green Way. The events organized alongside the exhibition brought together artists, researchers, urban planners, geologists, and specialists from various fields to spark discussions about the resources found in the heart of Geneva and Lake Geneva. The Biennale invited everyone to reflect on our relationship with raw materials, landscapes, and the invisible systems that shape our contemporary lives.
