Biodiversity Walk with the FMAC

In collaboration with the FMAC (Municipal Contemporary Art Fund) represented by Alexia Trulin and with Mathieu Pochon, an urban nature expert, the Biennale organized a guided walk inviting the public to explore the connections between works of art, materials, and biodiversity. Starting at the Natural History Museum, participants explored several works from the FMAC collection, learning about their history, how they were acquired, and the resources used to create them.

The walk then continued through Malagnou Park and the Villereuse microforest, offering an opportunity to observe the richness of urban biodiversity and gain a better understanding of the interactions between natural environments, public spaces, and human activities. At the intersection of art and ecology, this walk provided a thoughtful perspective on the city and the resources that make it up.
